Great question! The short answer is it depends, but you should be fine up to 15 people in a room (and possibly more).
The long answer is room capacity is a function of internet connectivity, machine power and what's happening in the room. If everyone has fantastic bandwidth and is using modern (and powerful) computers, Here should be fine with 30+ folks in the room with cameras on; but if a few people have poor connections or older laptops, you will likely encounter performance issues at lower numbers. Having folks turn their cameras off and/or removing large images/GIFs from a room can help improve performance.
The number of people that can be in a room also depends on room type. Rooms reach capacity—meaning more people will not be able to join— at the following numbers:
- Private rooms: 50 people
- Stations: 75 people
